Hamer tribe Ethiopia

Hamer  are one of the most known tribes in Southwestern Ethiopia.

They inhabit the territory east of the Omo River.

The Hamer have very unique rituals such as a bull-jumping ceremony.Bull Jumping ceremony represent a life changing event for the young man who passes from boyhood into adulthood. This rite of passage must be done before a man is permitted to marry.
